My practice is run as an appointment-only practice, meaning appointments are made individually by prior arrangement. Please arrive promptly at the scheduled time and allow sufficient time for your appointment. Since the practice does not have a dedicated waiting area, you can, if necessary, wait at the nearby main train station. There are numerous options for family members to spend their waiting time in a meaningful way. Parks and playgrounds are also within walking distance.

Clinical psychological treatment
Since January 1, 2024, partial reimbursement of treatment costs has been possible – in the case of a mental illness within the meaning of social insurance law (e.g. depression, anxiety disorder).
Process & cost subsidy:
Initial consultation: Clarification of the requirements and start of therapy
Units 1–10: No permit required
From Unit 11: Approval from your health insurance company required
Important: A medical examination is necessary before the 2nd session

Costs per session (50 minutes):
Please feel free to talk to me about the grant application during the initial consultation I'll provide you with the form. Please request this in a timely manner—at the latest before the 10th session.
Clinical psychological treatment is exempt from sales tax according to Section 6 Paragraph 1 Item 19 of the VAT Act.
3. Private services
Fully funded therapy places (benefits in kind agreement) are currently under negotiation; further information will follow shortly.
Clinical psychological assessments: These are private costs, as they are not covered by health insurance. The exact price depends on the issue and the time required. Please contact me for a personalized estimate.
Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen (AGB)
Praxis für Klinische Psychologie - Dr. Wolfgang Rotem Avituv, BSc, M.A.
1. Geltungsbereich
Diese AGB gelten für alle Leistungen der Praxis für Klinische Psychologie - Dr. Wolfgang Rotem Avituv, BSc, M.A., insbesondere für klinisch-psychologische Behandlung, Beratung, Diagnostik sowie die Erstellung von Gutachten.
2. Vertragsgegenstand
Der Vertrag kommt zwischen der Patientin/dem Patienten und der Praxis für Klinische Psychologie durch Terminvereinbarung zustande. Vertragsgegenstand sind ausschließlich klinisch-psychologische Leistungen im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Bestimmungen des Psychologengesetzes 2013.
3. Terminvereinbarung und Absageregelung
Vereinbarte Termine sind verbindlich. Eine kostenfreie Absage ist bis spätestens 24 Stunden vor dem Termin möglich. Bei späterer Absage oder Nichterscheinen wird das volle Honorar in Rechnung gestellt.
4. Honorar und Zahlungsbedingungen
Die Höhe des Honorars richtet sich nach der jeweils aktuellen Honorarordnung der Praxis.
Das Honorar ist unmittelbar nach jeder Sitzung vor Ort zu begleichen, entweder in bar oder per sofortiger Überweisung (z.B. per Mobile-Banking). Eine spätere Zahlung ist nicht vorgesehen.
Jedoch bei Gutachten oder längeren diagnostischen Verfahren können abweichende Zahlungsmodalitäten vereinbart werden.
5. Vertraulichkeit
Der Psychologe unterliegt der gesetzlichen Verschwiegenheitspflicht gemäß § 37 Psychologengesetz 2013. Eine Entbindung von dieser Verschwiegenheit ist nur mit ausdrücklicher schriftlicher Einwilligung der Patientin/des Patienten möglich.
6. Dokumentation und Aufbewahrung
Die klinisch-psychologische Dokumentation wird gemäß § 16 Psychologengesetz 2013 für die Dauer von 10 Jahren aufbewahrt.
7. Haftungsausschluss
Die klinisch-psychologische Behandlung ersetzt keine ärztliche oder psychiatrische Behandlung. Für Schäden, die außerhalb des Verantwortungsbereiches des Psychologen liegen, wird keine Haftung übernommen.
8. Änderungen der AGB
Die Praxis behält sich das Recht vor, diese AGB jederzeit anzupassen. Die jeweils aktuelle Version ist auf der Website abrufbar.
9. Anwendbares Recht und Gerichtsstand
Es gilt österreichisches Recht. Gerichtsstand ist – soweit gesetzlich zulässig - Salzburg.
